10/9/09 - A 16 year old male was arrested at the Hawthorne Cedar Knolls School for criminal mischief done to one of the school's buildings.  He was additionally charged with attempted assault and menacing of a school employee.  He was arraigned in the Mt. Pleasant Justice Court and remanded to the Westchester County Jail.

 

10/9/09 - A 29 year old Providence Rhode Island man was arrested for driving with a suspended license after police ran his driver's license subsequent to a traffic stop.  He was processed and released on an appearance ticket.

       

10/8/09 - A 19 year old Briarcliff woman was arrested after she allegedly hit a co-worker with a hand held scanning device causing injury to the victim.  The woman was arrested and charged with Assault in the third degree.  She was processed and released on her own recognizance.

 

10/8/09 - A 15 year old female was arrested and charged with petty larceny after she was observed stealing property from the Shoprite store located in Thornwood.  She was released on a Family Court Appearance Ticket.

 

10/8/09 - Police are investigating a petty larceny from the Shoprite store in Thornwood.  The suspect fled the store with approximately $160 in stolen merchandise.

 

10/6/09 - A Thornwood home located on Rolling Hills Rd was burglarized during the early afternoon hours.  The burglars were frightened off when a house cleaner arrived at the home for work.  The witness observed 3 males

exit the home and run into nearby woods.  Police searched the area with the assistance of police dogs and a helicopter.  No arrests have been made at this time.

 

10/2/09 - An 18 year old man was arrested at the Pleasantville Cottage School after it was learned that he was wanted by police in Philadelphia.  The man will face charges of Attempted Murder once he is extradited and returned to Pennsylvania.
